The Price of a Good Book

Posted by

Amazon allows authors to set their own prices and I’ve often wondered if readers think that the more expensive a Kindle book is, the better it must be. Not true.

I was laid off a couple of years ago and writing helped supplement my income. Hell, it was my only income for just over a year, but now I have a part-time job (with insurance, thank God) to supplement my writing. Unfortunately, I still have to pinch pennies, so I can’t afford the $9.99 Kindle edition novels anymore. But you know what, I’ve read some really good books that cost much less.

That’s why I sell my books, all 31 of them, for less. Maybe there’s a reader out there pinching their pennies, as well.
