There were things I never thought that I would live to see in my lifetime like writing novels and actually selling them, too. Or like getting a double-dose of vaccine to ward off a killer virus and still have to wear a mask.
But, something that lifted up me with pride and hope was watching a woman being sworn in as vice-president of the United States. For me, It didn’t matter what her politics were, what party she belonged to or the color of her skin. What mattered was this woman really did break the glass ceiling.
“While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last.”
Females of all ages heard that message and now know they can achieve their dreams, whatever they may be. I just hope that I live long enough to see an all female team in the White House. (They’d better hurry.)
