Posted by Lately I’ve been feeling very uneasy and I wasn’t sure why. You know the feeling you get when something bad is about to happen. A sixth sense, if you will. I realized that my uneasiness stems from all the negativity swirling around in America. We are pitted one against the other in ways that are tearing this country apart.
I vote independent. My allegiance is to America, not a political party. I pick a nominee who I think will be the best candidate for the job regardless of party. I wonder if people yelling vote blue or vote red really examine who they’re voting for. I have a friend who votes for her party no matter who’s running for office and no matter how bad they are in office, my friend will still vote to reelect them.
Imagine if people voted their conscious and not their party. If something isn’t done soon, what will our children inherit?
