Could You Survive without the Internet?

Posted by

We’ve come to rely so heavily on the Internet that I wondered if the world could function without it now. So much so, that I wrote a book about it. 😉 Everything is done through the internet. Hospital charts, banking, school assignments, taxes, etc. Even our cars today use the Internet to keep them running.

Most people aren’t aware of how large an impact the Internet plays in their ever day life. The market would crashed, airplanes would fall out of the sky, subway trains would stopped dead in their tracks. Pacemakers and medical chips embedded in peoples arms, could explode. Banks would lock their doors because the electricity would shut off.

If the Internet went down globally for an extended period of time, we would be thrown back into the stone-age. Well, that’s probably how the younger generation would feel about it. I grew up before cell phone’s and Internet. I got my books from a library and watched my shows on the television.

I could survive without the Internet. Without the funny cat videos on Facebook. Without my Kindle or other apps. Buying groceries would be my main problem because I don’t keep money at the house. My car is old and not connected to the Internet so that’s no problem. Getting gas from the gas station would be the problem, but a tank of gas would last me for a month. Surely they’ll have the Internet fixed in that time… right?

I could survive. Could you? Read my book and see the possibilities.
