I have one particular quirk that I believe is pretty unique in the writing world. As far as I know, it’s the only quirk that I have. Everything else is allowed (to an extent).
In my books, all 31 one of them, I think I wrote ‘God damn it’ only once and then I agonized for days over whether to leave it in the book. Can you imagine the power those words have? I would never intentionally ask God to damn anything or anyone, even when writing fiction. I admit, those words have spit out of my mouth on occasion, like when I stub my little toe. But then I quickly regret it. “Sorry, God. Please don’t damn my toe.”
