Time in a Bottle

Posted by

As a child you’re in a hurry to grow up. As a young adult, you’re in a hurry to make you mark on the world. As a middle-aged adult, you’re in a hurry to retire and enjoy life. As a senior, you’re in a hurry to reverse time and relive your life. As a writer you’re in a hurry to write about all those things.

Ever wonder why we envy what we can’t have and then when we get it, wonder why we wanted it in the first place? We get off balance with want vs. need.

As we usher in a new year, first, I am grateful to see it, second, I am no longer in a hurry for anything. Life’s too short to hurry through it.

You’ve heard the puns about having 20/20 vision in 2020, right? They’re not just puns. Find your balance in 2020 and live life to its fullest. This is your year!

Happy New Year!
