Beta Readers are a Must!

I have a beta reader who not only corrects my grammar so that I won’t be embarrassed when I send my novel(s) to my editor, but also brainstorms with me when I have a sudden onset of writer’s block. Beta readers don’t have to be a professional editor, and you don’t have to pay them, they volunteer. They just have to catch the things you missed while being supportive. My beta reader is my best friend, Joyce, who, when she reads this, will probably suggest some edits. 😉
